Eric Vincent thinks of himself as a modern troubadour. Like the wandering minstrels of the middle ages, he has carried his music all over the known world, in his case to more than 140 countries. Accompanying himself on the guitar, he sings about his travels and about his concerns for the environment, but mostly he sings to entertain, and he has a particular gift for involving his audience, whether or not they are fluent speakers of French.
French Politics Today
The Alliance Française of Central Iowa and Drake University will present a discussion of current affairs in France on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 7PM Meredith 101. The event is free and open to the public.
Presenters will be Derek Wilson, a Scottish professor who teaches law in Nantes, France and Eleanor Zeff, Associate Professor of Political Science at Drake.
