The Alliance Française of Central Iowa is not offering lessons in French language at this time. However, some of our members are involved in other French learning groups and we would like to share these options for those who are interested!

There is a French conversation group. Since the Drake Diner is now closed on Monday evenings, we are now meeting at Gateway Market. If you want to be added to the mailing list about this group, leave your email address at 515-277-5741. Some people buy their dinner, others have just a drink. There are no fees or rules, and anyone who is willing to try to speak French is welcome. We have regular attendees who are near-native speakers and some who know just a phrase or two.

Des Moines Area Community College offers elementary and intermediate French.
